This small garden based in Wigan was in a truly dilapidated state and in need of a complete makeover from fencing inwards.
The brief on this project was to build a garden with a feel that is a cross between traditional and contemporary.
There was a very strict budget which determined the materials used. There was also the directive to make it low maintenance with an emphasis on paving but to avoid the area looking like a car park.
We decided to build a split level terrace garden with retaining wall, adjoining steps and incorporate raised planters constructed from sleepers.
